Dr. Julius is internationally recognized for his groundbreaking discoveries of receptors involved in the sensation of temperature and touch, work that earned him the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. His lecture will explore mechanisms underlying visceral pain and provide insights into the sensory pathways that influence human health and disease.
